My name is Andrew Kyrzyk and I have danced professionally in BTA’s Checkmate and Carmen. I absolutely loved working with Vlad and the other talented artists involved. I was introduced to Vlad and BTA through my friend, Jade Whitney. Being new to Toronto and eager to train and work, I was fortunate to be cast in Checkmate, one of my first professional roles in Toronto. I learned so much from the experience as Vlad trusted me as a dancer and he taught me so much about partnering and artistry. This has helped with my career today as a working male dancer as I am often partnering and lifting. I am now dancing and choreographing for various television and film productions. I would highly recommend BTA to any dance artist wanting to continue growing and training from the best, while dancing with a company that feels like family, like a community. As an audience member, I would highly recommend BTA shows to anyone who appreciates art and movement. I remember going to see BTA’s Alice and I was completely moved by the performance. I was blown away! Thank you, Vlad, for everything!
